We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join Textalk Group’s Abicart Core team – helping shape one of the Nordics’ most established e-commerce platforms, used by 3,500+ stores with transactions worth over 4 billion SEK annually. You’ll be employed by Textalk Group, with your primary focus on Abicart.

The Role and Responsibilities

As part of the Abicart Core team, you’ll help shape the technical design as well as the day-to-day code of a platform used by thousands of merchants. You’ll work with modern PHP to build new functionality, maintain and refine existing systems, and collaborate with colleagues across development, product, and customer-facing roles to ensure our solutions remain reliable and scalable.

Who Are We Looking For?

We’re looking for an experienced developer with an architectural mindset, who can write clean, modern maintainable code with best practices at heart, as well as dive into existing systems to investigate, maintain and refine. For this role, you will need:

• Backend expertise – Solid PHP experience, with knowledge of best practices in architectural patterns, CI/CD, and testing, to build reliable server-side applications.
  

• Infrastructure knowledge – Hands-on experience with relational databases, APIs, caching, monitoring, and messaging systems, enabling scalable and efficient services.
  

• Front-end skills – Comfortable using JavaScript, HTML and CSS, including rendering and templating, to support front-end development.
  

• Performance & scalability mindset – Ability to design solutions that remain efficient as systems and demands grow.
  

• Security awareness – Experience designing and implementing solutions with security built in from the start.

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks
  

• Interest in accessibility and inclusive design
  

• Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent

• Fluent in Swedish

What You’ll Be Doing

Together with your teammates in the Abicart Core team, the work spans a wide range of areas. It includes building new features and APIs, integrating with other internal and external systems, maintaining and improving existing code, and rendering both admin tools and storefronts. It also means ensuring that payments and other core services run smoothly, with performance, scalability, and security always in focus.
