Finnish-speaking Appointment Setter (Remote)
Finnish speaker needed for Nordic expansion
About the Role
We are looking for a driven and communicative Appointment Setter to strengthen our Nordic and European sales efforts for Textalk Media. You will work with our product Prenly, Europe’s leading e-newspaper solution, which currently serves 100% of all Swedish daily newspapers. We are now accelerating our growth across Europe, with Finland as a key strategic market where our product has a strong market fit.
The Team: You will be part of a growing sales team of 5 salespeople and 1 Head of Sales. Specifically, you will work closely with two experienced sales executives responsible for the Nordic and European markets (excluding the DACH region). You will collaborate with senior professionals who will handle the closing, while you focus on opening the right doors.
What You’ll Be Doing
Opening doors and creating interest: Acting as the bridge between potential customers and our senior sales executives.
Prospecting decision-makers: Reaching out to publishing houses and media companies, primarily in Finland (in Finnish) and across other European markets (in English).
Booking high-quality meetings: Using the phone, email, and LinkedIn as your primary tools to qualify leads and book meetings.
Learning and developing: Participating in digital customer meetings and events to learn the full sales process end-to-end.
Tracking success: You will be measured on the number of activities, contact points, and booked meetings.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is structured, persistent, and motivated by clear targets. This is not a closing sales role; instead, we need someone who can start the right conversations. You are comfortable and confident communicating by phone and digital channels, and you view feedback as an opportunity to grow.
Requirements:
Fluent in Finnish and English (spoken and written).
Experience in appointment setting or sales.
Comfortable communicating professionally via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
Curious, coachable, and eager to continuously improve.
